Circa 2011 opened its doors on West 3rd Street with a simple conviction: that good food shouldn't require shortcuts. We start each day hours before dawn, because sourdough doesn't rush, and neither do we.

What began as a one-oven operation has grown into a gathering place — for neighbors grabbing morning coffee, for families stocking weekend meals, and for anyone who believes that where your food comes from matters.

We partner with Virginia farms and mills whenever possible, because the best bread begins with the best grain, and the best grain grows close to home.
